The Worst Is Almost Over!!!

So I am currently taking 19 units…it sucks so bad, but I have to do like this so I will be okay for the Fall 2014 semester. Being that I am an out of state transfer I pretty much have all of my general education requirements out of the way and now its mostly my core classes left. Anyways, after Monday I  will be done with this Statistics class that is the bane of my existence right now. Its an online math (don't ever do it!) class and the book does a really horrible job at explaining HOW to do the work. So when I go to do the classwork or quizzes I am clueless at what is going on. The other night it took me 6 hours to do ONE assignment and my goal for that day was to complete four. So I pretty much resorted to googling all the help because I am in a save-myself-I-need-to-pass-this-class mode. I cannot afford to fail this math class because its a prerequisite for ALL the classes I have to take this coming fall. Ugh. I am only taking it because it is 8 weeks versus 16 weeks if I took it in California. I rather life suck for 8 weeks than the whole semester. This sunday I am driving down to Camp Pendleton so that I can take the two proctored exams for this class and then the worst is OVER. I have to do decent on the midterm and then the final is cumulative so I think I will be okay. I have been copying down in my textbook how to do all the problems and it helped me so much when I took the first test so I am going to do the same thing for these last two. Anyways I just wanted to update you guys because I know I have been MIA. Too much going on right now, but after next week I will be good because the other classes that I am taking are not too hard and I am not spending hours trying to get the work done for them like I am with this math class.
Thats is all until next week!!!

School and Army Flow

So the spring semester recently started and I have been so busy re-adjusting that I haven't been able to update you all. I am at a new school and its completely different. One of the things I wanted to work on this year was to stop procrastinating. And while I would love to say I don't do it, what I can say is that I have become better at NOT doing it so much which is a step in the right direction. The reserves are going good as well. I conducted PT last battle assembly and smoked myself so good that I was hurt for 2 weeks. That forced me to take it easy all month in order to recover for drill this weekend which happens to be from Friday-Sunnday. Not looking forward to it because 1) I cannot come home at night which means I have to board my dog ($) and 2) I have class on Fridays and it is a weekly class so me missing tomorrow is like missing the whole entire week. Boo to that. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do though!! All of the hard work and sacrifices will make it well worth it in the end so I won't complain.
Sorry this is short, but I have to pack for drill and get some last minute online homework done so I get get to bed super early :( I have to get up at 0200 just to leave for drill and beat the early morning LA traffic.

Here are some monthly roundup pics!
