Natural Hair and the Army
So having natural hair in the army is no easy task. Regardless of how long your hair is you always have to go the extra mile to care for it because its always under stress. Whether you wearing your beret, you patrol cap or an ACH, you ALWAYS have something on your head. And in my case because my hair is longer, its always pulled back. In the beginning I always found it hard to maintain my length because it was always breaking off because of all the stress from pulling it back, but once I stop putting so much effort into making sure it was perfectly straight my hair is flourishing!
Now, the only thing I have to work on is the shrinkage. Its hard out here in Texas because of all the humidity though. Hopefully I will get some time this week and I will post my hair routine up =)

Life of a teacher
So someone I know is a 5th grade teacher and she is off the wall!!!! When she shared this photo I just had to pass it on!!!! Hopefully she didnt crush his spirit with that one haha!

So right now I am in the process of starting my own business. I am getting out of the Army next year and I want to do something that makes me happy!!! More details on what that business is later. This girl right here has homework! LOL.To think in 10 months I will be free of the Army and on my way to a 4 year school. During this last deployment I busted my ass to take classes and now I only need 5 more units to have my AA degree. Somehow I managed to keep a 3.41 average so I guess that is good considering the circumstances! Anyways talk to you lovelies later!
